| So, I was going to rip Jeremias' idea of having a show where all the photographs were printed on cakes (not for my work, but for my advanced students.) When I mentioned the idea to a collegue, he shot me down and told me what a stupid, immature idea it was and how it illustrated to the students unprofessionalism! |

man! hey al, is your colleague really boring? oh, i know. make a cake with your picture on it and do the ol' pie-in-the-face trick... except it's not a pie. it's a cake. why do such a thing? because THAT, my friend, is professional.

Al! cake is your thing. do it. i agree that an art person should embrace all media even that which can be eaten. plus it is an added bonus to go to a show were there is good art AND yummy food!

yeah, he's definately not Mr. Exciting -- speaks with a fake scottish accent. I've been talking with my students; we're going to have the cake show but probably not in the art building; I was thinking setting up outside the school cafeteria now.
